In the ongoing battle of equality of both sexes, tons of research has shown that women have certain attributes or character that make them better leaders though men still hold the majority Of leadership positions.
The power of women is rapidly growing as we continue to see more boss ladies in this competitive world of business. But does this put the man out from his game? Today, both men and women are completely exposed to the same amount of equal opportunities and liberties.
When it comes to leadership in a working environment, certain characteristics determine who is more effective and efficient, be it woman or man; the two main character traits that stand out the most in deciding who is more effective as a boss are as follows:

Women are arguably much better listeners than men in general, and a good listening skill is exactly what is most critical for managing employees and clientele. Naturally, women are known to be more discussion oriented while men are more of wanting to just take action. Men communicate more through activities while women communicate more through conversations.
Communication is an important skill when it comes measuring who is a better boss or leader. Every staff would agree that they want their managers to hear their point of view, and customers want everyone to empathize with their problems. Being a better communicator will lead to a stronger relationship built on trust, which is critical to establishing loyalty as a boss.
Better Community Builders

Women are said to have more skill in unity building and don’t have the need to direct everyone in what to do. In today’s world of the connected Internet, those that know how to build cooperative relationships are becoming more successful than traditional bosses and their leadership techniques.
Male dominated authoritarian leadership is being replaced by a more collaborative and connected managerial system. The best managers are learning to lead through the influence that comes from building collaboration rather than straight force or all out competition.
Overall, who would we as individuals choose to work for, a man or woman?
